Our Eyes

Toyah has been taking photos of the children's eyes and laminating them. We've had fun trying to work out who the eyes belong to!

Some of the children spot the owners straight away!

We put the laminated photos onto a table with pencils and paper and have been looking at them and drawing them.

Our portraits so far!

These portraits look good already and we haven't done the facial details yet.

We had to have a workshop for the staff with an artist Paul Johnston to figure out how to do the eyes!

Some of our parents have kindly brought in portraits that they have at home for us to show the children.

In this image you can see the black outline, the green underpainting and one portrait with the flesh and sweatshirt painted.

These have all been done by children between the ages of 2 and 5.
