Our 10th Birthday!

We had a great week celebrating 10 years at St AndrewsEpsom ECC

We went to the zoo

and what a great birthday cake we had - it was ENORMOUS!

We ate it at our birthday party!

The Epsom Librarians came and read us stories

and Mr B. Loon blew LOADS of balloons up for us!

The puppet lady entertained us with her puppets

Stunning Birds!

These birds paintings are the result of experimenting with painting onto  projected images of  (mostly)  native birds of New Zealand. The accompanying stories are either "All I know about birds' or Narratives using 'Once upon a time' as a starter. The study of birds included visits to  the lake at Western Springs and to our Auckland Museum as well as reading lots of books about NZ birds and generally talking lots about birds too. We tried photographing them but the birds around the Kindy weren't very cooperative!
